Building strong foundational literacy skills is paramount. Our approach leverages the science of reading to ensure all students become confident readers. Generally, our young learners start reading in kindergarten, and we continue to encourage this practice, building comprehension through guided reading, independed reading, word study, shared reading. Students are also exposed to varied genres and styles through our reading programs and library resources. 

Singapore Math emphasizes a mastery of basic math concepts and builds a solid foundation for future learning. Students are encouraged to develop problem-solving strategies. Manipulatives and visuals are used to solidify understanding.

Our classrooms are vibrant and engaging, designed to spark creativity and collaboration.

We measure student progress against the recognized Common Core standards, ensuring they are well-prepared for future academic challenges and can carry on their academics regardless of where they move to next.

We believe that nurturing a love for writing empower students to become confident and creative communicators. Engaging writing workshops throughout the elementary grades provide students have the opportunity to review their work, incorporate key skills and strategies, and share their work with peers, offering and receiving constructive feedback that fosters growth.
